Wat is inbegrepen in uw tandriem & Water pomp vervanging?
De tandriem (cam riem) bepaalt de timing van uw motor ’ s kleppen.
De vervanging van de riem van uw timing omvat de montage van een volledige timing gordel kit – de tandriem en spanner.
Ook inbegrepen is de montage van een nieuwe waterpomp.

Als Thetford meer geschikt voor u is is dit ook mogelijk.
We zijn eerder in het midden van nergens, maar als u hoeft te wachten op uw auto zijn er sommige aangename wandelingen in het gebied.
Hoe lang zal het duren?
Ter vervanging van uw timing duurt gordel doorgaans minder dan drie uur.
Hoe kan ik betalen voor mijn timing gordel vervanging?
De pijnlijke beetje die ik weet! Maar we willen geven u zoveel keuze mogelijk, zodat wij accepteren:

- Alle belangrijke Credit Cards (met inbegrip van AMEX) – via de telefoon of op collectie
- Directe Bankoverschrijving

- Cheques – voorwaarde dat ze duidelijk vóór levering of collectie

We don ’ t zoals dingen gaan verkeerd, en u zeker zou ’ t! Kwaliteit is voor ons belangrijk, maar in het geval dat er iets verkeerd gaat hebt u onze
12 maand, onbeperkt aantal kilometers garantie.
Onze garantie dekt u voor onderdelen en arbeid in het geval van een storing van een onderdeel als gevolg van onvoorziene omstandigheden. Breng uw auto enkel terug naar ons en we zullen het uitzoeken.

i am based in australia, i have a 98 freelander and the head gasket just went. land rover want $2000+ to fix it which is prohibitive and not possible.
i have plenty of mechanicl experience, but was wondering if there was anything special or tricky about replacing the gasket myself.
any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Brad,
I assume given the year of your Freelander and the problem you have with it that it is a 1.8 litre petrol model. If you have plenty of mechanical experience then there is no particularly tricky issues in dealing with this models head gasket. Make sure you get the head skimmed and pressure tested at a machine shop and ensure that you use the modified multi layer head gasket and not the single layer one (otherwise you will find yourself with the same problem again within another 70,000 miles). Also ensure that you use an engine flush and a coolant flush on the system to get rid of any residues and check there are no blockages. Never use any sealing additives in these engine, such a K-seal, they cause havoc!

Yes, it is true. The bolts are stretch bolts and hence should not be reused.

HI IM STUGLING WITH MY 1.8.
CANT SNAP HOW THE TIMING MARKS ON THE CAMS SEPOSE TO BE

Apologies for the delay in responding.
When facing the engine from the drivers side the IN, marked on the cam shaft pulley on the left hand side, should face the EXHAUST, marked on the cam shaft pulley on the right hand side.
Using the mark on the back plastic cover, mounted on the head cylinder, align the crank shaft pulleys to the mark.
